Victoria Elementary Spring Fling

Victoria Elementary Spring Fling

Tonight was Victoria Elementary’s annual Spring Fling, and what fun it was.

This annual event is a fund raiser for the Victoria Elementary and everybody participates – the students, teachers, parents and staff.  There are lots of games, the bounce house obstacle course, temporary tattoos, amazing food, pretty much everything needed for an afternoon of fun with the kids.

Victoria Elementary Spring Fling is a great place to grab dinner.  My favorite is the yummy, authentic carne asada tacos, rice and beans, but the kids seem to prefer the perennial favorite of hot dogs and chips.  Regardless, once you’ve had dinner, you can work some of it off with hula hooping contests and cake walks (or perhaps put it back on if you win one of the confections).Victoria Elementary Spring Fling

All in all a lot of fun for everyone, reasonably priced (where else can you get dinner and entertainment for 3 for $20?) and all for a great cause.

Victoria Elementary is a Blue Ribbon, California Distinguished School, and this type of fundraiser allows the school to continue it’s great work with the kids.

If you missed it this year, no worries.  It will be back next June.  If you’re thinking this is too much fun, and you don’t want to wait quite that long, the Victoria Elementary Fall Festival is quite similar and just as much fun.
