Rain Camp in the Queen City Led by the Queen of Charlotte
I’ve been to a lot of Rain Camps, but I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed one more. I flew out to the Queen City to attend Rain Camp, and am I having a blast!
First of all, it’s beautiful. I’m getting to enjoy fall and this lovely city.
We started last night with bowling at StrikeCity with a group of about 20 Rainers organized by the Queen of Charlotte real estate, Debe Maxwell.
What a great night of networking and just plain fun, and for those of you who are wondering, Debe is just as great as you thought she might be.
Today is Rain Camp, and Ben Kinney and Bob Stewart are teaching the finer points of blogging and social networking and how to turn it into business. More on that later
Maybe you’re wondering why I keep attending Rain Camp? In addition to the fact that I always pick up at least a couple of new ideas to improve my business, it’s a great way to network with the best in the business.
I’ve had a chance to meet Debe Maxwell, Steve Shatsky, Thom Abbott, Jeremy Blanton, Craig Rutman, Nevin Williams and many others over the last few days.
I think the opportunity to meet with such great real estate minds, to deepen friendships and learn from them is well worth the trip.
So, if you haven’t taken the opportunity to attend the Rain Camp near (or not so near) you, be sure that you do. You will be amazed at how much you take away from it both in knowledge and in networking and friendships.
