Orange County Museum of Art
The museum began in 1918 when it was known as the Laguna Beach Art Association. It became the Orange County Museum of Art in 1996. The museum has more than 40,000 visitors each year.
The museum has a collection with approximately 2500 items with a focus on California art from the early 1900’s to the present.
The museum also has the California Biennial which brings together contemporary visual artists. The 2010 California Biennial runs from October 24, 2010 through March 13, 2011.

Museum hours:
Monday and Tuesday – closed
Wed-Sun from 11am to 5pm
Thursday – 11am to 8pm
Adults are $12. Students and Seniors 65+ are $10. Children under 12 are free. Second Sunday of each month is free for all. Parking is free.
