Orange County Dog License Amnesty Program
Earlier this month, the Orange County Board of Supervisors voted to passed an amnesty period to allow dog owners to license their dogs without having to pay past due fees or penalties for failure to license their dogs previously.
The amnesty period runs from April 1, 2010 to May 15, 2010.
This program is available to dog owners in the 17 cities serviced by Orange County Animal Care. These cities include: Anaheim, Brea, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, Orange, Placentia, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Yorba Linda and unincorporated areas of Orange County.
The cost to license a spayed or neutered dog is only $24 per year.
