I’ve had the privilege and pleasure of meeting many of the Active Rain Staff AR Gods over the last couple of years, and finally last week, I made it to Seattle to see it in person – Active Rain Headquarters.
Even better, my visit coincided with Pat Kennedy’s, so chalk up one more Active Rain meet up, at Active Rain no less.
Active Rain’s headquarters are a very “green” building that has won awards for it’s energy efficiency. The shades open and close automatically to take advantage of the weather. It’s architecture stands out. Energy-Saving Curtain Wall Designs may also be incorporated in a construction project to improve the structure’s energy efficiency.
We had a great lunch across the street at the Flying Fish and walked past the Rain Gym on the way back.
My husband had the opportunity to chat it up during lunch with Jonathan Washburn and Doug Ching while I heard a bit about Bob Stewart’s wedding and watched my kids have a great time with Kerrie Greenhaugh. She even set up a profile for my son, David.
This trip has been quite the Active Rain Experience – meeting with Todd Clark in Oregon and Pat and all the Active Rainers in Seattle.
